Obituary
Farmington- William H. Benedict died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 at the age of 77.
Bill had a big heart and could talk to anyone. He loved shooting trap, deer hunting and being with family. He was a cherished husband, father, brother, Papa and “Bompa Bill”.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy; children, Scott (Sharene) Benedict, Joni (James) Mergenthaler, Sara (Chris) Day and Jonathan (Cara Paterson) Chapman; sister, Nora (Gary) Knaak; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and nephews. Bill was the son of the late Henry and Dorothy Benedict.
