Obituary
Canandaigua – William Eugene “Gene” Cripps, age 71, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Friends may call on Friday April 13, 2018 from 1-2p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 2p.m. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Gene was a 1964 graduate of Gorham High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969. On October 21, 1972, Gene married the love of his life, Linda Nichols, in East Bloomfield, N.Y.
was a truck driver for Leonard’s Transportation, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed NASCAR, but most of all he loved his family, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Gene is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; children, Jennifer (John) Ousby and Andrew (Wendy) Cripps; grand-children, L. J. and Matthew Ousby, Sydney and Noah Cripps; brother, Ralph (Doris) Cripps; sister, Mary Lou Cripps; brother-in-law, Les “Bill” Marshall; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Nichols and Norma (Ted) Cappetti.
Gene was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Anna Marie Cripps; and his sister, Lola Marshall.
