Obituary
Canandaigua- Viola J. Blakesley, 92, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016.
Friends may call Thursday (Aug. 25th) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday (Aug. 26th). Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Born in Yates County in the Town of Jerusalem, Viola was the daughter of the late Earnest Thompson Tears and Mary Hemenway Tears. She enjoyed her flowers, birds and traveling. Viola was retired from Finger Lakes Raceway.
Viola is survived by 3 daughters, Patricia (Allie) Dillman, Janet Walker and Jaye Charbonneau; daughter-in-law, Marion Blakesley; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildrren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Louise Fowler; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Blakesley; her son, James Blakesley; and 2 grandchildren.
