Valerie L. Schultz

Gorham- Valerie L. Schultz, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Canandaigua, NY.
Friends may call Sunday (Oct. 17th) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Monday (Oct. 18th) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Valerie was born in Canandaigua on Oct. 4, 1965. She was a graduate of Marcus Whitman High School in 1985 and of Finger Lakes Community College. She went on to earn two Bachelor’s Degrees.

Valerie was devoted to her family, her friends and her faith. She was the strength that all of her family and many of her friends depended on. Valerie loved looking forward to the holidays and to family birthday celebrations. She had an amazing memory and knew dates and facts. Valerie never complained. She spoke of herself as handi-capable. If you didn’t know her, you missed out on knowing a wonderful human being.

Valerie is survived by her parents, Bruce and Joanne Schultz; three sisters, Vickie (Mike) Carpinelli, Veronica (Lewis Gould) Schultz, Vanessa (Dave Horn) Schultz; one brother, Bruce (Stephen Reale) Schultz, Jr.; 7 nieces and nephews, Joanna Fake, Lee Fake, Jr., Jessica Martin, Daykota Michaels, Jordyn Chappelle, John Chappelle, Jr. and Nicolette Carpinelli; great-niece, Kate Martin; great-nephew, Mason Martin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
