Penn Yan- Theodore H. “Big Teddy” Holton II, age 48, a.k.a. Ted, Big Teddy, Teddy, Teddy Bum, Papa, Papa Man, Old Man, and Dad, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Friends may call Saturday (March 27th) from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.

Teddy is the son of the late Theodore Holton I and Elaine VanBuren. He worked for Cardinal Disposal in Dundee. Teddy loved this job, including harassing his boss, Joe.

Teddy collected Mopar Matchbox cars and Hot Wheels. He was a NASCAR fan, and also enjoyed Monster Trucks and demolition derbies. Teddy loved riding his Harley, working on his house and being outside. He loved grilling, bonfires and cooking spaghetti and chili. Teddy enjoyed picking on his kids and grandchildren. He was a father figure to many.

Teddy is survived by his wife, Michele; 5 children, Angelica (Thomas) Cornish and their children, Logan, Parker, Sophie and Belle; Cortney (Ed) McClain and their children, Madison, Chloie and Avery; MiKayla (Cameron Pate) Holton and their dog, Beau; Ashley (Dakota Watkins) Holton and their daughter, Paisley; and Theodore “Little Teddy” Holton III; his stepmother, Ruth Holton; his father-in-law, James Payne, Sr.; his 7 siblings, Jesse (Kim) Holton, Mary Holton Garnsey, Sherry D’Aprile, Todd (Michelle) Holton, Holly (Chet) Holton, Ted (Jenn) Holton and Robin (Terry) Holton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Peter (Amy) Payne, Suzanne (Norm) Payne, Michael (Teresa, Billie Jo) Payne, Leslie (Michael) Gaudio and James Payne, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Thomas Kennerson; and best friend, Billy Scheepsma.

Teddy was predeceased by his parents; and his beloved mother-in-law, Emma Payne.
