Obituary
Penn Yan/St. George, Utah- Thelma Blake Oswald, 92, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2016.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday (Oct. 10th) at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints., 365 Parrish St., Canandaigua.
Burial will be in Shuman Cemetery, Town of Potter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Thelma was born Oct. 24, 1923 in Ely, Nevada. She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick H. Oswald; parents, Milo Blake and Alena Fowler Blake; brothers, Keith and Duane Blake; and sisters, Beulah Tobler, Dorothy Rodoni and Betty Sullivan.
Thelma is survived by her children, Shirley (Anthony) Estruch and James Oswald; sister, Wanda Lucas; sister-in-law, Darlene Blake; her 6 grandchildren, James (Lynn) Oswald, Daniel Oswald, Wayne Oswald, Kevin (Robin) Oswald, Rebekah Estruch-Todd and Amanda Estruch; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler (Paige), Colton, Morgan, Kyle, Alia, Marissa, Jadon and Robbie Oswald, Max Todd and Adelaide Estruch-Harris; and many nieces and nephews.
