Obituary
Varick – Sheldon F. “Shorty” Sharpe, age 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at his home.
Services will be private.

Sheldon was born March 15, 1943 in Scott, NY, the son of the late John and Genevieve Sharpe.
He was a Director of the NY Steam Engine Association. He mowed at the Steam Pageant grounds every Wednesday. Sheldon collected Allis Chalmers and organized the Gathering of the Orange at the NYS Steam Pageant. He had a tractor parts business, related to Allis Chalmers tractors.
Sheldon is survived by his wife, Sue Sharpe; two sons, Todd (Mary) Sharpe and Gregg (Jessica) Sharpe; one sister, Sandy (Al) Tuttle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Louis Sharpe, and his sister, Esther Bush.
