Stanley – Sgt. Howard Frederick Gotts, WWII M.I.A., will be buried with Full Military Honors at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019 at Sand Hill Cemetery, 1768 Sand Hill Rd., Stanley.
Sgt. Gotts was the son of the late Frederick Nelson Gotts and Ina Pearl Estey Gotts. He was born on Feb. 23, 1920 and lost on August 1, 1943. He has recently been recovered and identified.
