Obituary
Middlesex- Ruth B. Clark, age 92, died Saturday, August 26, 2017, at her home.
Friends may call Friday (Sept. 1st) from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Middlesex United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery.

Ruth was the daughter of the late Maurice and Marjorie Voorhees Bay. She was a 1942 graduate of Middlesex Valley Central School. On July 29, 1944, she married Leigh A. Clark.
Active in her community, Ruth was a member of the Middlesex United Methodist Church and the Rushville “Tuesday Club”. She was a former Town of Middlesex Historian and a member of the Middlesex Heritage Group, the Yates County Historical Society, the Rushville Historical Society and the Granger Homestead Society. She was retired from her job in the school cafeteria at Marcus Whitman School.
Ruth is survived by three children, Barbara Dunham, Marcia (Ken) Dailey and Larry Clark; seven grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Dunham, Christopher (Tara) Dunham, Laura (Stephen) Finnan, Kelly (Jeff) Polgar, Jason (Erika) Clark, Adam (Jennifer) Clark and Benjamin (Kate) Clark; 19 great-grandchildren; her brother, Tom Bay; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Leigh A. Clark in 2016; her grandson, Justin Rothe in 1998, her son-in-law, “Ike” Dunham in 2016; and three brothers, Sheldon, Milton and Kenmore Bay.
