Manchester – Rose Mary M. Heidecker, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021.
Services will be at a later date.

Rose Mary was born on Jan. 7, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia.
She raised her 8 children in Potter, NY. Rose Mary was proud that she had been sober for 40 years. She married Robert Lewis Heidecker on Jan. 6, 1987. She and Bob were both Christian Evangelistic Ministers, through the McDowell Memorial Church of Chattanooga, TN. They had traveled all over the United States in their ministry.
Rose Mary was a talented artist and writer. She enjoyed painting, crafts and sewing. She wrote and published many Christian short stories, and 2 books, “Emmie” and “Home to Grannie’s Creek”.
Rose Mary is survived by four daughters, Jane (Roy Erb) Blakesley of Manchester, NY, Ann Dawn of Interlaken, NY, Beth Frey of Evening Shade, AK, Katherine Hairston of Cedar Crest, NM; three sons, Eric (Sue) Dougherty of Manchester, NY, Michael (Karen) Walker of Brenham, TX and James (Lesa) Hubbard of Oklahoma; several step-children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Nellie (Charles) Martin of FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburt Cummings and Mavis Webster (Lewis) Wheeler; son, Lawrence Eaves; sister, Mary Wilson; her spouse, Robert Lewis Heidecker; and son-in-law, Gary Blakesley.
