Obituary
Penn Yan- Ronald E. Fox, age 76, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
Friends may call Sunday (Dec. 2nd) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday (Dec. 3rd) at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church in Stanley, NY. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Ron was born Dec. 9, 1941 in Ithaca, NY, son of the late DeForest and Mary Fox. He was a graduate of Gorham High School. Ron retired from Xerox in 2000, after 36 years of service.
Ron was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Canandaigua Sportsman Club for 18 years; S.C.O.P.E., the Finger Lake Trollers Association and a life-time member of the N.R.A.. Ron was President of the Sourdough Hunting Club, which he started with Xerox friends. The Club members built a hunting camp in Cameron, NY in 1988.
Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol; five children, Christopher (Vicky) Fox, Laurie (Richard) Woodworth, Sally (Rocky) England, Randy (Ann) Fox and Daniel (Tammy Johnson) Fox; 11 grandchildren, David Fox, Bonnie (Brian) Parkot, Shaina Mitchell, Megan (Josh) Close, Ashley (Stephan) Scharf, Brianna Bagley, Jennifer Fox, Nicholas Fox, Olivia Fox, Dana Fox and Matthew Fox; eight great-grandchildren, Casey Fox, Ethan Fox, Mckenzie Mitchell, Nolan Mitchell, Hayden Close, Colton Scharf, Quinn Scharf and Sailor Knight.
Ron is also survived by seven siblings, Wayne (Katie) Fox, David E. (Diane) Fox, Patricia (John) Sawers, Margaret (Richard) Hilton, James (Lynn) Fox, Carol (Tom) Calabrese and Deborah (Kevin) Greek; and many, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
