Obituary
Gorham/Palmyra- Ronald Christensen, age 73, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
Friends may call Saturday, (Nov. 11th) from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, (Nov. 12th) at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca #9 Presbyterian Church 4414 Number 9 Rd., Stanley, NY 14561.
Ron was a graduate of Gorham Central School Class of 1961 and Morrisville State College Class of 1963. Ron married his wife Beverly Iddings Christensen on September 5, 1970 at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Waterloo. He was employed at Seedway, Blowers Fertilizer, Agway Bean Plant in Caledonia, NY and King Cole Bean Plant in Avon, NY.
Ron was a former member of the Stanley Odd fellows and a member of Seneca #9 Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed bowling, watching sports, cooking, fishing, eating out and family gatherings.
Ron is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Marie Iddings Christensen; daughter, Christine Ann Christensen Olsen; two sons, Derek Ronald (Kristine) Christensen and Kyle Allen Christensen; five grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Olsen, Dawsen, Leah and Jenna Christensen; and several cousins.
