Geneva- Robert M. “Bobby” Johnston III, age 57, died Monday, August 29, 2022.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Bobby’s name can be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Bobby was born on April 18, 1965 to Robert Milo Johnston, Jr. and Sylvia Windnagle Johnston. He was a lumberjack who owned Bob’s Hardwood Shop in Geneva. Bobby enjoyed big game hunting, especially Bear Hunting in the northeast and Mule Deer hunting in the west. He also enjoyed garden tractor pulls and was a member of Central New York Tractor Pullers.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Sylvia Johnston; sister, Susan (Paul) Barnes; brother, Jim (Cal) Johnston; nieces and nephews, Mathew Cripps, Katherine (Jordan Blakesley) Cripps, Nicholas Barnes, James (Amanda Cline) Johnston and Lindsey Johnston; great-nephew, Jayden Blakesley; close friend, Keith Wilson; as well as other family and friends.
Bobby was predeceased by his father, Robert Milo Johnston, Jr.
