Obituary
Gorham – Robert J. Davis, Sr., age 88, died on December 25, 2016.
Friends may call Wednesday (Dec. 28th) from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday (Dec. 29th) Noon to 2 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow Dec. 29th at 2 p.m at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Robert retired from N.Y. Thruway Authority in 1986. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. Bob was a life member at the Gorham Fire Department. Fireman of the year in 2000. Bob enjoyed the Senior Citizen Luncheon at the Gorham United Methodist Church.
Bob is survived by 5 sons, Robert (Cynthia) Davis, Jr., Douglas Davis, Randy (Nancy) Davis, James (Gail) Davis and Scott (Terry) Davis; seven grandchildren, Teresa (Shawn) Dauber, Randy Davis, Jr., Holly Davis, Tracy (Todd) Shaw, Patrick (Erin) Davis, Alysa Dilts and Scott Davis, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Courtney, Brendon, Mason, Terrin and Sydney; one great-great-granddaughter, Olivia; two brothers, Warner (Janet) Davis and George (Betty) Davis; and sister-in-law, Pauline Lafler.
He was predeceased by wife, Joan Lafler Davis in 2007; son, Thomas in 2012; two brothers, Edwin and Jack; and one sister, Marion.
