Obituary
Reed Corners- Robert H. Mumby, age 91, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 at his home.
Bob was the son of the late Howard Robert Mumby and Mary Frances Roat Mumby. He was born in Canandaigua, NY on August 31, 1928. Bob graduated from Gorham High School.
Bob was a lifelong farmer and a life-member of the Reed Corners Federated Church. He was a former Realtor, Insurance Agent and Town of Gorham Councilman.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rita E. Mumby; son, Steve (Sharon) Mumby of Canandaigua; two daughters, Carol (George) Foote of Mt. Morris and Kathy (Tom) Clark of Seneca Falls; three step-children, Lon (Debbie) Nielsen of Penn Yan, Kelly (Charlie) Green of Manchester and Sandra (Michael) LaCrosse of Rochester Hills, MI.
Bob was the grandfather of Aaron (Emily) Mumby, Chris Mumby, Matthew (Nicole) Clark, Mary (Geoff) Lewis, Molly (Gabe) Telarico, Morgan (Derek Hoover) Nielsen, Shawna (Chris Gleason) Nielsen and Natalie LaCrosse. He was the great-grandfather of Kennedy, Quinn, Jace, Jackson, Carter, Claire and Declan. Bob was the brother-in-law of Gail Hubbard, Marie Pantaleo and Dottie DeStefano; and had many nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Mumby; and by his step-daughter, Charlene Nielsen.
Friends may call on Friday (Sept. 6th) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday (Sept. 7th) at 2 p.m. at the Reed Corners Federated Church. A private burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.
