Obituary
Gorham- Robert C. Smith, age 90, died peacefully in his own home on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with burial in Glenwood Cemetery in Geneva, with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, 1216 Rte. 14A, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Bob was the son of the late Morgan and Edith Smith. He attended Phelps High School. Bob served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic at Shepard Ford in Canandaigua for over 30 years.
Bob was a gifted clock-smith. He also enjoyed working with and playing the guitar.
He will be deeply missed by his two sons, John (Teresa) Smith and Robert (Dawn) Smith; daughter-in-law, Bambi Smith; 9 grandchildren, Kara (Andrew) Silkiewicz, Andrew Smith, Kristy (David) Lebnick, Brittany (Kevin) Sage, Bethany Smith, Erica (John) Clark, Travis Smith, Zachary Smith and Makaylla Smith; 5 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Wesley (Barbara) Bagshaw; Doris Bagshaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. Smith in 2015; daughter, Connie Lynn Smith; and son, Curtis Smith.
