Obituary
Gorham – Richard D. Clarke, age 78, died unexpectedly Monday, March 26, 2018.
Friends may call Thursday (March 29th) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Friday (March 30th) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Dick was born Feb. 19, 1940, son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Bagshaw) Clarke. He graduated from Gorham Central School in 1959. Dick retired in 2002, after 29 years as a Motor Equipment Operator for the Town of Gorham Highway Department. He had also worked at Gorham Oil. After retirement Dick drove truck for Doug Hey and worked for Hilton Farms.
As a young man, Dick was a Champion Drag Racer at Canandaigua Speedway. He enjoyed Farmall tractors, and following NASCAR.
Dick is survived by his son, Jason A. Clarke; grandson, Dale A. Clarke; sister, Joyce Benedict; three brothers, David (Sylvia) Clarke, James Clarke and Jack (Karen) Clarke; special niece, Jenny Kerrick; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
