Obituary
Randy James Ransom, age 64, died at his home in North Fort Myers, FL on Sept. 22, 2021, after a long illness, with his loving wife at his side.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday (Oct. 16th) at 10 a.m. at Sand Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Randy was born on July 13, 1957 in Clifton Springs. He graduated in 1976 from Marcus Whitman Central School and was an Eagle Scout. Randy married his best friend and soul mate, Kim Cauwels, on July 6, 1991.
Randy enjoyed hunting. He loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a skilled Machinist and a skilled craftsman.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kim; their children, Brandy (Jason) Cooper, William (Mandi) Ransom and Sean (Charity) Ransom; 11 grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel Frisbee, Kaiya and Abbi Cooper, Lana and Ayden Ransom, Alexis and Devin Meyers, Michael, Brantley and Brycen Ransom; his mother, Patricia Ransom; his sister, Sharlyn (Anthony) Secor; sister-in-law, Lisa “Sharon” Cauwels; brother-in-law, Jon Cauwels; 2 aunts, LaVerna Roe and Debbie (David) Leitz; 2 uncles, Mark (Terri) Wright, and Kevin (Dawn) Wright; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Randy was predeceased by his father, Judson J. Ransom, Jr.; his brother, Ricky Judson Ransom; and his father and mother-in-law, Morris and Mary DePaepe.
