Obituary
Canandaigua – Ralph E. Miller, Sr., age 80, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at Elm Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program, Purple Haze Center, 5757 State Rte. 96, Farmington, NY 14425.
Ralph was born July 21, 1939 in Macedon, NY, the son of the late Leon and Elizabeth Miller. He was a mason with Gerstner Construction in Canandaigua for many years. After retirement he worked at Victor Hills Golf Course.
Ralph had enjoyed word searches, puzzles and horse races. He had a huge, quirky sense of humor. But most of all, Ralph loved and was devoted to his family.
Ralph is survived by seven children, Dawn (Randy) Carr, Ralph E. Miller, Jr., Tim (Lori) Miller, Tom Miller, Dan (Marie) Miller, Patricia Miller and Bill Miller. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and by his sister, Shirley Nesbitt.
Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Joyann E. Miller on August 18, 2009.
