Obituary
Penn Yan- Paula Lee Daines, age 65, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at her home.
Friends may call Friday (Aug. 24th) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 25th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Nettle Valley Cemetery.

Paula was born July 25, 1953 in Penn Yan, NY. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia Monczynski Wood. Paula graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1971. She graduated from Keuka College in 1975, with a Bachelor of Nursing (RN). Paula was a nurse for 35 years at the Canandaigua V.A. Medical Center, retiring in 2010.
Paula enjoyed her flower gardens and loved feeding her hummingbirds. She enjoyed spending time on Keuka Lake at the cottage where she grew up. Paula loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and playing “Phase 10” with Joe every morning.
Paula is survived by her husband, Jody “Joe” Daines, two daughters, Tina (Peter) Pratt and Lisa (Gary) Clark; one son, Tracy (Christina) Miller; 10 grandchildren, Bailey, Peter Jr., Emily and Rylie Pratt; Corbin, Emma and Beatrice Clark; and Brittani, Brandon and Bryant Miller; one brother, James (Esther) Wood; one niece, Christine (Michael) Shutter; and one nephew, Timothy Wood.
