Obituary
Stanley- Paul Walter Kwiecinski, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Saturday (Aug. 28th) at Little Church Cemetery, at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456; or to the VA Medical Center, in Memory of Paul Kwiecinski, 400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Paul was born September 7, 1949 in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from High School and then received an Associates Degree from Erie County Tech.
Paul served with the U.S. Army from 1970-1971, serving one tour in Vietnam with the Black Horse Armored Calvary Unit. He was a proud member of the 11th Armored Calvary’s Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia; and of the Geneva American Legion.
Paul owned Paul’s West Avenue Diner in Canandaigua during the 1970’s. He worked as an electrician and retired from C.B. Phillips in Canandaigua.
Paul was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He also loved golfing, fishing and cooking.
Paul is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Carrie Young and Denise (Lance) Suhr; step-son, Jack; 8 grandchildren; sister, Elaine (Richard) Gavazzo; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Kwiecinski.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Stella Kwiecinski; the mother of his children, Jackie Kwiecinski; and his brother, Eugene Kwiecinski.
