Obituary
Dundee- Patricia Jane Rapalee Murphy, age 95, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held Saturday (Jan. 16th) at 11 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Dundee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund of Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home, 655 Liberty St., Penn Yan, NY; or Clinton Crest Manor, 411 Clinton St., Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Pat was born April 25, 1925 in Dundee, NY. She was the daughter of the late Ray William Rapalee and Charlotte Christiana Hicks Rapalee. Pat was a proud graduate of Dundee Central School and Keuka College. She and her late husband, Bob, owned and operated the Western Auto Store in Dundee for many years. She was also a past Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Starkey. Pat grew up and lived in Dundee most of her life.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Greg) Borowski; son, Robert C.F. (Colleen) Murphy; four grandchildren, Dina (David) McCammon, Kim (Matt) Pierce, Lindsay (Matt) Croft and Michele (Justin) Martinek; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis and Clara Jane McCammon, Robbie and Molly Pierce, and Luke Croft; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat was predeceased by her husband, Robert S. Murphy; parents, “Bill” and Charlotte Rapalee; sister, Phyllis R. Whitbeck and brother, Robert Rapalee.
