Obituary
Geneva/Penn Yan- Maude D. Parish, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Friends may call Thursday (May 25th) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.
A Funeral Service will begin at 5:30. Rev. Mark Ammerman of the Faith Community Church will officiate.
Burial will be in the Benton Rural Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3535 Number Nine Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.
Maude was born in Lodi, NY on Jan. 17, 1927. She was the daughter of the late George and Mae Putnam. Maude and her husband, Paul, were married for 47 years, prior to his passing in 1990. They raised five daughters.
Maude retired from Willard Psychiatric Center, as a Housekeeping Supervisor, in 1991. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Geneva. Maude loved the Lord and spent her life walking in His light. She loved unconditionally and spent every day expressing this love to her family. All who met Maude loved her.
Maude is survived by five daughters, Donna French, Diane Conklin, Paula (Elwood) Hilligus, Susan Dragos and Barbara (Jim) Marcinkowski; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Sincebaugh; one brother, Claude Putnam; brother-in-law, Glenn Parish; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three grandchildren.
