Canandaigua/Gorham- Mary Garratt Burgess, 80, Nov. 20, 2016.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (Dec. 10th) at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Finger Lakes, 1777 Rochester Rd., Farmington, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance, P.O. Box 41, Gorham, NY 14461.
Mary was the daughter of the late Charles and Magelia Garratt. She was employed at Comstock Michigan Fruit in Gorham. Mary was a member of the Reed Corners Federated Church, the Stanley Rebecca Lodge, the Reed Corners Grange and the N.R.A.
Mary is survived by three children, Lester (Cyndi) Burgess, Jr., Robert Burgess and Kathleen Burgess; one granddaughter, Amanda Walton; 4 sisters, Jean Mitchell, Carrie (George) Ellis, Ida (John) Cody, and Ellen Kleiman; one brother, Charles (Jackie) Garratt; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Lester Burgess, Sr. in 1995; and by 2 sisters, Darleen (Cesar) Campos and Ethel (Robert) Claudius.
