Obituary
Gorham- Marian “Mamie” E. Stape, age 85, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the home of her daughter, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, (April 9th) at 2 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
Marian was the daughter of the late Albert Clayton Shaner and Edna L. Stokoe Shaner. She was retired from the Ontario County Health Facility. Marian is the widow of the late Richard H. Stape.
Marian is survived by one daughter, Susan (Ron) Hess; one son, Gary (Rusty) Stape; one granddaughter, Stacey (Larry) Feenaughty; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Picchi and Jaime Feenaughty; two sisters, Betty Shaner and Janet Shaner; two brothers, Donald Shaner and Kenneth (Eloise) Shaner; sister-in-law, Doris (Bob) Phalen; brother-in-law, Ken Stape; and several nieces and nephews.
