Rushville/Naples- Loren “Corky” Clark, 82, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

There will be no services or calling hours at his request.

Donations may be made in Loren’s name to the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424; or to your local animal shelter.

Born in Canandaigua, New York, “Corky” was the son of the late Loren C. Clark and Mary Hicks Clark. He was retired from the Maintenance Department at Marcus Whitman Central School. Corky had also worked at Rushville Motors and Martin Tires.

His accomplishments include being Past Master of the Rushville Masonic Lodge #377; a Lay Minister of the Rushville Congregational Church; member of the Rushville Lion’s Club and a member of the Middlesex Valley Volunteer Ambulance.

Corky’s hobbies included beekeeping, history (proud to be a descendant of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition) reading, and carpentry. He was a loyal Green Bay Packers’ fan.

Corky is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, June R. Clark; two daughters, Vicky C. Dygert and Krista J. (Daniel L.) Smith; five grandchildren; Joseph L. Dygert, Cody C. Ayers, Collin R. Ayers, Brandon C. Smith and Lacey R. Smith; one great-grandchild, Alanna R. Dixon; nephews, Thaddeus (Becky) Trzeciak and Jonathan (Cindy) Trzeciak; and several great-nieces and nephews.
