Obituary
Ontario- Lewis Don Scott, age 83, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Friday (Aug. 6) at 11 a.m. at Canandaigua Lakeview Cemetery, Jones Rd., Rushville.

Don was born on March 18, 1938 in Canandaigua, the son of the late Lloyd E. and Lucile Kindelberger Scott. He was a graduate of Gorham Central School, Class of 1956. Don then attended Hartwick College, where he obtained his Bachelors of Education in 1960. He then graduated from SUNY Albany in 1964, with his Masters Degree in Office Administration. He taught at Ferris University in Michigan for 3-4 years, before he accepted a position at SUNY Alfred Tech. College, where he retired in 1995 after 28 years of service.
Don was a singer with several Rochester Oratorical groups, including the Rochester Gay Men’s Chorus.
Don is survived by his spouse, Mark; a brother, Gilbert (Cathy) Scott; sisters, Janice Castner and Marion (James) Baird; sisters-in-law, Connie Scott and Cathy Scott, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Don was predeceased by sisters Phyllis Helen Jorgensen, Dorothy McCaig; 2 brothers, Lloyd Dan Scott and Gerald Scott.
