Obituary
Penn Yan- Lester E. McMillan, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at The Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan.
Friends may call Saturday (Feb. 6th) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yan.

Lester was born in Canandaigua on January 8, 1930. He was the son of the late Frank and Vina McMillan. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army Reserves. Lester was retired from the Village of Penn Yan Municipal Department.
Lester was a member of the Penn Yan First Methodist Church. He enjoyed wood-working. Lester was also a member of the Penn Yan American Legion, the Seneca Lake Duck Club and the NRA.
Lester is survived by two sons, Roger (Deborah) McMillan and Paul (Kathy) McMillan; 7 grandchildren, Kimberly (Fred) Cratsley, Robert McMillan, Derrick (Caitlyn) McMillan, Jason (Caitlyn) McMillan, Michael McMillan, Kimberly Leote and Christopher (Sierra) McMillan; 12 Great-grandchildren; one brother, Althon McMillan; and several nieces and nephews.
Lester was predeceased by his first wife and mother of his sons, Helen Scott McMillan; and by his second wife, Helen Coffin McMillan; and by his sister-in-law, Sandra McMillan.
