Lawrence H. “Larry” Schenk

Phelps- Lawrence H. “Larry” Schenk, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at Rochester General Hospital.

Visitation will be Sunday (Feb. 13^th) from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Service to immediately follow. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Old Mill Restaurant in Gorham.

Burial will be in Pioneers Cemetery, Shortsville.

Larry was born Dec. 25, 1964 in Canandaigua, NY. He graduated from Canandaigua Academy. Larry was a life-long contractor and was currently working at Proctor Enterprises in Gorham.

Larry enjoyed the outdoors, collecting antiques and listening to all kinds of (loud) music! Drinking “Blue” in his garage, with his wife and many friends, while watching his farm animals. Larry loved his family dearly.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Morales Schenk; three children, Tyler Rankin, Kaylee (Dan) King and McKenzie (Desmond) Miller; two grandchildren, Maelyn and Paisley; sister, Debbie (Steve) Krossber; mother-in-law, Anne (Paul Simmons) Morales; brother-in-law, Randy Morales; and sister-in-law, Michele Morales-Theilen; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry was predeceased by his mother, Linda Lee Johnson; father-in-law, Robert Morales; and nephew, Justin Meath.
