Obituary

Chili- Laurence N. Swan, age 79, passed away July 30, 2023.

Friends may call on Monday (August 7th) from 1-2 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow calling hours at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Larry was born on Feb. 12, 1944. He was a graduate of East High School in Rochester. Larry retired as a Fire Lieutenant for the City of Rochester Fire Department. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America, Model A Restore Club and a charter member of the Good Sam Club. Larry was also a member of the Rochester Fire Fighters Benevolent Association and the Rochester Retired Fire Fighters Association.

Laurence is survived by his daughter, Lorie Lee (Walter) Watson; son, Dean Robert (Tammy) Swan; and step-son, David Dunn.

He was predeceased by his wife, LaVon Dunn in 2022; his mother, Florence E. Doesher Swan; and his brothers, Charles and Wesley.

We are so heartbroken to learn that Larry had passed away. We have known Larry and his wife LaVon since the early nineties—we did allot of camping and old car shows together until LaVon was unable to travel anymore. They both will be missed by so many.
