Laura Jane Kent

Hall- Laura Jane Kent, age 77, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022 at 2pm at the Little Church Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Stanley Fire Hall.

Laura was born on February 27, 1945 a daughter of the late Bernard and Evelyn Terwilliger Thorpe. She was a graduate of Gorham Central School, Class of 1963. Laura lived in Watkins Glen for many years before she moved to Hall in 2014. She loved to sew, do crossword puzzles and visit with friends. Laura was an avid NASCAR fan.

Laura is survived by her children, Leslie (Becky) Lamphier, Dawn (Mike) Weed and Richard Lamphier; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her favorite kitty, Scottie.

Laura was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Larry Kent and her friend, Gilbert LaRoux.
