Obituary
Clifton Springs- Kenneth E. Payne, age 77, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Friends may call Monday (Nov. 30th) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday (Dec. 1st) at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Edward Kennedy will officiate. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Ken was the son of the late Robert James Payne and Marjorie Bolt Payne. He was a graduate of Gorham High School. Ken had worked as a truck driver for Sam Kaufman Trucking Company in Canandaigua, Hahn Trucking in Rochester, and Cambridge Manufacturing in Canandaigua.
Ken was a fan of NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also an avid lawn mower after his retirement.
Ken is survived by his wife, Theresa Cooper Payne; five children, Susan Hotchkiss, Thomas (Liz) Payne, Jason (Angela) Payne, Kendra Payne and Robert Payne; 12 grandchildren, Ryan Hotchkiss, Meghan Thompson, James Thompson, Pollyanna Treese, Deiondra Payne, Jadon Treese, Abigail Payne, Benjamin Treese, Jerame Payne, Olivia Payne, Mallory Payne and Gideon Payne; one sister, Joyce (Gary) Mott; two brothers, Henry (Lorrie) Payne and James Payne; several nieces and nephews; and neighbor and friend, Joy Verbridge.
Ken was predeceased by his brother, Robert M. Payne, Jr. in 2014; and by his sister-in-law, Marilyn J. Payne in 2009.
