Rushville/Vine Valley/Naples- June R. Clark, age 87, passed away peacefully at Huntington Living Center on Sept. 1, 2021.

Services will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.

June was born Dec. 1, 1933, to Arthur and Pauline Radtke. She was a graduate of Middlesex Valley High School.

June grew up in the Crystal Beach area and loved being around the lake and the ocean. She was a lifetime fan and collector of Alice in Wonderland items.

June and her late husband, “Corky”, enjoyed bee keeping and making maple syrup together. June also helped bake grape pies for Cindy’s Grape Pies in Naples, with her nephew, Jon and his wife, Cindy. She and Corky loved animals and let their daughters have almost any kind of pet they wanted.

June enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts. In her last few years, she spent time coloring detailed coloring books.

June was a former Teacher Assistant at Marcus Whitman High School; and she painted many of the pictures on the Marcus Whitman School buses, which helped the young students locate their buses.

June was a member of the Rushville Congregational Church and a former member of the Middlesex Valley Volunteer Ambulance.

June was a “fighter”, who never gave up through her two struggles with cancer.

June is survived by two daughters, Vicki C. Dygert and Krista J. (Daniel L.) Smith; five grandchildren, Joseph L. Dygert, Cody C. (Danielle M.) Ayers, Collin R. (Megan L.) Ayers, Brandon C. Smith and Lacey R. Smith; two great-grandchildren, Alanna R. Dixon and Lincoln R. Ayers; nephews, Thaddeus (Becky) Trzeciak and Jonathan (Cindy) Trzeciak; and several great-nieces and nephews.

June was predeceased by her husband of almost 62 years, Loren “Corky” Clark in 2016; and her two sisters, Dorothea (Floyd) Eggleston and Evelyn (Edward “Cappy”) Capauldy.
