Obituary
Naples- Joyce Ann Hey, age 77, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at home, surrounded by family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17 at 1 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home of Gorham. Burial will be in Shuman Cemetery.
Family and Friends are invited to a celebration of Joyce’s life on Friday, November 17, from 5-8 p.m. at the Rushville Fire Hall.
Memorial Contributions in Joyce’s name can be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
Joyce was born on June 10, 1946 a daughter of the late James and Lucille Guthrie Wesson. She was a member of the Penn Yan American Legion, Penn Yan Moose Club, Penn Yan Elks Club and the Murrells Inlet, SC, VFW. Joyce loved going to the Beach and going on Motorcycle trips with her husband, Ron. She loved her family and friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Ronald M. Hey; three daughters, Tessa (Todd) Conaway, Cassie (Chris) Ryder and Leanne (Jamaa) Coleman; nine grandchildren, Brie Ann (John Ennis) Crooks, Austin Blake (Chelsi) Conaway, Sean Todd Conaway, Tucker Deane Ryder, June Cydel Ryder, Jamaa De’Andre Coleman, De’Shana Alexis Coleman, As’lee Lucille Coleman and Adler Ford Coleman; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Mia; one brother, Calvin Wesson; sister-in-law, Christine Mize as well as many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Harlen Wesson.

At CNB, Joyce was a lifesaver to me when I fell behind on my mortgage payments in 2009. She had great empathy towards me. She patiently taught me about how to do finances and survive! I am sorry she has passed away. She will be missed!
