Obituary
Crystal Beach – Joseph P. Murphy, Jr., age 44, passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021.
Friends may call Friday, Dec. 17 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.
at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Joey was born Feb. 22, 1977 in Canandaigua, NY, the son of Joseph P. Murphy, Sr. and the late Deborah Bourne Murphy. He attended Marcus Whitman Central School.
Joey enjoyed cars and his family. He was a former member of the Crystal Beach Fire Department.
Joey is survived by his daughter, Sasha Murphy; his father, Joseph P. (Dinah Blankenberg) Murphy Sr.; brother, Timothy M. (Mary) Murphy; nieces and nephew, Makayla, Brianna and Matthew Murphy; his grandmother, Margery Murphy; aunts and uncles, Jonathan (Mary Volansky) Murphy, Nicholas (Kellie) Murphy III, Margery (Woody) Watkins, Darlene (Tom) Fox, Rick (Betsy) Bourne and Ralph Bourne; as well as several cousins.
Joey was predeceased by his mother, Deborah Murphy; and his grandfather Nicholas Murphy II.
