Obituary

Gorham- Joanne M. Schultz, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Canandaigua, NY.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday (Nov. 14) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.
Joanne was born on April 12, 1949 in Canandaigua to the late William and Rhoda Bellis Oberdorf. On June 4, 1965 she married Bruce F. Schultz, Sr. at the Old Bethel Baptist Church in Gorham, Pastor Ralph Keyes officiated. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything. Joanne’s greatest joys in life was taking care of her family, cooking big holiday meals where everyone would come together. Joanne also loved her French Bulldogs, especially her current dog “Mini”. Joanne liked going to the Canandaigua Moose Club on Friday nights to listen to old country music. She enjoyed going to the Casino and playing scratch off lottery games.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Bruce F. Schultz, Sr.; three daughters, Vickie (Mike) Carpinelli, Veronica (Lewis Gould) Schultz and Vanessa (Dave Horn) Schultz; one son, Bruce (Stephen Reale) Schultz, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Joanna Fake, Lee Fake, Jr., Daykota Michaels, Jordyn Chappelle, John Chappelle, Jr. and Nicolette Carpinelli; great-granddaughter, Kate Martin; great-grandson, Mason Martin; brothers, William, Paul and Scott Oberdorf; sisters, Sandy Prisella, Debbie Campbell, Karen Read and Bonnie DiFederico as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Valerie L. Schultz on October 12, 2021; brothers Charles and Richard Oberdorf; and sisters, Marge Lawson and Donna Clark.

I just found about Joanne, and Val a few weeks ago! I am in shock .. I am so sorry to hear of their passing, they were both amazing! So so sorry
