Obituary
Middlesex- Jeanette Page Decker, age 70, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Celebration of Life will follow calling hours at 2 p.m.

Jeanette was born on October 20, 1953, a daughter of the late Clair and Emma Fox Page. She was a graduate of Marcus Whitman Central School, Class of 1971. Jeanette continued her education at SUNY Morrisville and earned a degree in Mechanical Technology- Drafting & Design and met her husband, Steve.
Jeanette worked for Kodak as a tool designer. Jeanette owned JP Decker Design where she designed plastic injection molds. She later worked at HEP Sales in Canandaigua as a lighting specialist.
Jeanette and Steve were married for 48 years. Along with Steve, she was an avid hiker, they belonged to the Adirondack Mountain Club, Finger Lakes Trail Conference and the Appalachian Mountain Club.
Jeanette’s interests included, sewing, embroidery chair caning and time with her many cats and dog.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Stephen W. Decker; a sister, Rita (Daryl “Scott”) Mark; a sister-in-law, Sallie Plummer as well as many nieces nephews and cousins.
Jeanette was predeceased by her parents; brother, Charles Page; and two brothers-in-law, James Decker and Andrew Decker.

Such a sweet, kind, respect person. I was a classmate of hers. In later years we would run into each other at reunions or in Canandaigua. Too young for her to pass. Condolences to her family.

So sorry for the loss of Jeanette. I remember her with lots of funny wit and smarts back in the Marcus Whitman days. I have to say she helped me through some of those science classes back then.
