Obituary
Geneva/Middlesex- Jeanette L. Kuehne, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2016 peacefully at her home.
The family welcomes all friends and invites you to come share a memory and a smile Wednesday (April 27th) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday (April 28th) at 11 a.m. at the Rushville Congregational Church. Dr. Edward Kennedy will officiate. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery in Middlesex.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario County Humane Society, 2976 County Rd. #48, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Jeanette was a graduate of Marcus Whitman Central School, class of 1970. She also graduated from Bryant and Stratton Business School. Jeanette was a member of the Geneva First United Methodist Church, and was treasurer of the United Methodist Women’s Group. Jeanette was successful with sobriety for over a decade and was a proud member of Alcohol Anonymous. She was a volunteer at Geneva Community Garden. Jeanette was also a five-year cancer survivor.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Mark) O’Brien; son, Matthew (Michelle) Newman-Kuehne; three grandchildren, Kyler Aubrey Kuehne, Haley and Connor O’Brien, mother, Barbara Ames; one brother Calvin (Catherine) Ames; three sisters, Carol Stenzel, Elizabeth (Seth) Clearman and Patricia (Robert) Dawson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Edward E. Ames; and grandson, Nathaniel Kiel Kuehne.
