Obituary
Savannah/Penn Yan- James G. Hey, age 78, died Saturday, August 13, 2022.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Nettle Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can by made to New York Steam Engine Association, P.O. Box 1149, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Jim was born in Penn Yan, NY, the son of the late Clarence L. and Ruth Finnemore Hey. He was a member of the NYS Steam Pageant and various tractor clubs in the area. Jim collected tractors and enjoyed tractor pulls.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lane Hey; sister, Jean (Robert) Brown; brother, Edward Hey; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Wade Kniffin.
