Obituary
Geneva- James F. Allen, age 77, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Friends may call Tuesday (Jan. 26th) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Private Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Little Church Cemetery.

Jim was born Nov. 19, 1943 to Burlin and Marion Hey Allen. He was a graduate of Gorham High School, and Freeman Business School. Jim married Sharon T. Jensen on Feb. 19, 1966.
Jim worked as a dispatcher for Penn Yan Express, and later for Howard Express. He and his son, Jeff, owned J&J Farms.
Jim was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a Life-Member and former Fire Commissioner of the Hall Fire Company. He was also a member of the Ontario County Farm Bureau.
Jim was a member of the NY Steam Pageant Association, the Finger Lakes Two-Cylinder Club, the Yates International Tractor Club . He collected antique cars, tractors and toy tractors.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon; two sons, James (Angie) Allen, Jr. and Jeff (Sarah Robson) Allen; six grandchildren, Kendra Sharon Allen, Burlin James Allen, Noah Hildreth, Wyatt Thomas Allen, James Pasko and Nicholas Pasko; one great-grandson, Gabriel Pasko; two brothers, Roger (Lillian) Allen and Larry (Mary Ellen) Allen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael (Thelma) Jensen, Daniel (Myra) Jensen, Cornelius Charles Jensen, Jens Thomas (Sharon) Jensen, Kathleen Marie (Fred) Best and Dagmar Christine Christensen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim was predeceased by his parents; his brother-in-law, Henry Earl Jensen; and sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Alexander and Margaret Jensen.
