Obituary
Town of Seneca- James D. “Jim” Bush passed away peacefully at his home on August 16, 2016, his 80th birthday.
Friends may call Saturday (Aug. 20th) from Noon- 2 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Nettle Valley Cemetery.

Jim was born in the Town of Seneca. He was the son of the late Donald and Bernice Brown Bush.
Jim served in the National Guard, and was honorably discharged on June 30, 1962. He drove truck for Penn Yan Express, and then for C.F. Trucking in Geneva. Jim enjoyed hunting, and loved his dogs and his draft horses. He was a member of the Tri-County Draft Horse Club.
Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leona “Peewee” Bush; three children, Donald (Chris) Bush, Thomas Bush and Dorinda (John) Engert; 7 grandchildren, Samantha Bush, Jimmy (Emily) Bush, Nicole Bush, Lisa Bush, Amanda Bush, Zach Lambert and Jesse (Joseph) Yankanich; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Lia Bush; brother, Rodney Bush; three sisters-in-law, Waneta (Richard) Yaw, Loretta Hobart and Mildred Washburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald (Nancy) Bush and Gary Bush and sister-in-law, Sally Bush.
