Obituary

Our beloved father and hero, Jack Leland Clarke, age 90, of Gorham NY, passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida on Sunday, February 5, 2023.  Jack was a loving and caring husband to his best friend and wife Karen Clarke of 66 years.

Jack was born on August 15, 1932, son of Arthur and Ruth Clarke of Gorham NY, He Married Karen Jensen on May 18, 1957, together they had 5 beautiful daughters. Jack was an amazing loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Jack led a full life as a Korean War Veteran, Farmer and salesman of farm equipment and lawn mowers.

Jack is survived by his wife Karen Clarke; children, Susan (Robert) Yarger, Sally (Craig) Logan, Marilyn (David) Boothe and Lucinda Clarke (Chuck Pennington).  Siblings; James Clarke of Buffalo NY, and David (Syliva) Clarke of Gorham NY.  Also, Eight grandchildren, five girls and three boys and ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his daughter Carol, parents Arthur and Ruth, sister Joyce Benedict and brother Richard Clarke.

Memorial Service will be planned at a later date, Jack had a love for animals of all kinds, therefore in lieu of flowers, please consider Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
