Obituary

Town of Seneca- Ina L. Campbell, an Earthly Angel, gained her heavenly wings on March 11, 2017, at the age of 100.

Friends may call Thursday (March 16th) from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Geneva Assembly of God, 757 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva. A Funeral Service will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Geneva Assembly of God, 757 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.

Ina was a highly regarded icon in her community, and a lifelong resident of the hamlet of Flint, NY. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared the Lord’s love with everyone she met. Ina loved all people, and that love was manifested in her several missionary trips she made with her husband, Louis, to the Appalachian Mountains. She was a Youth Sunday School teacher for many years, and reveled in the fact that her Sunday School “kids” still recall those days.

Ina was honored by being inducted into the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was extremely patriotic and proud of the fact that her brother, Howard Gotts, gave his life for our country and our flag in World War II.

Ina was intensely proud that her ancestors were among the initial settlers of the Town of Seneca, and that Ina’s father, Nelson Gotts, was the Highway Superintendent for the Town of Seneca for decades.

Ina was celebrated by her family for her 100th birthday at a party in October 2016 that was attended by family coming from Alabama, Florida and Washington, as well as her New York family.

Ina was dearly loved by her family, and leaves a deep void in their hearts and lives. She is survived by her daughter, Verna Clark; three grandchildren, Joyce (Dennis) Richardson, Evelyn (Scott) Hundley and Howard (Alison) Clark; six great-grandchildren, Richard Moore, Jennifer Sainnoval, Alexis Clark, Abbey Clark, Amber Mann and Katie (Logan) Mahler; eight great-great-grandchildren, Hailey Rossi, Gina Rossi, JJ Rossi, Jacob Moore, Lucas Mann, Marcus Mann, Cade Mahler and Sidney Mahler; and many dear nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Ina was predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Nelson Gotts, her husband, Louis Campbell, her brothers, Donald, Harold and Howard Gotts and their spouses; and her son-in-law, Grant Clark.
