Obituary
Hilda R. Coryn, 94, of Hopewell, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Friends may call Tuesday (June 14th) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (June 15th) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Hilda was born December 26, 1921. She was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Esty Brown. On Dec. 14, 1940 she married Charles J. Coryn, Sr. They celebrated their 54th Anniversary before his death in 1995.
Hilda and Charles owned and operated Coryn Farm Supplies, which they started in 1937. The business continues to be operated by their sons.
Hilda was a life member of the NY Steam Engine Association. She was also a member of the Hopewell Historical Society and the Aloquin United Methodist Church.
Hilda is survived by five children, Joyce Gee, Jane (David) Gentner, Lola (Gary) Duger, Charles (Cheryl Nussbaumer) Coryn, and George (Joanne Lanigan) Coryn; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Hannah (Erv Schroeder) Johncox.
Hilda was also predeceased by one brother, Harold Brown.
