Clifton Springs- Helen Mae Schinsing, age 93, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
A private graveside service will be held at the Rushville Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Sands Cancer Center.
Helen was born on March 12, 1931 a daughter of the late George and Helen Joslyn. She enjoyed doing her hair, makeup and painting her nails. Helen was a wife and mother for over 70 years. She enjoyed spending time with family on picnics, fishing and playing cards. Helen was an avid soap opera fan and loved to watch game shows. She also was an Elvis Presley fan. Helen liked to watch her grandchildren and was always happy when she got to hold her great-great-grandchildren. She loved to go to Roseland. The biggest love in her life was her husband of 70 years. They were inseparable.
Helen is survived by 9 children, Sharon VanWyngaarden, Helen Pearl, Marlene (William) Erb, Vincent (Sally) Schinsing, Jr., Mary Henninger, George (Lisa) Schinsing, Janet (Eddie) Dibble, Elizabeth Schinsing and Betty (Mark) Ledgerwood, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Helen is predeceased by her husband Vincent Schinsing, Sr., her parents, 1 daughter, Beverly Henninger and 7 brothers, James, Ralph, John, Ronald, Thomas, Richard and Howard.
