Obituary
Penn Yan – Hannah R. Johncox, age 88, passed away on Dec. 11, 2020.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held Saturday (Dec. 19th) at 11 a.m. at Sand Hill Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2021.

Hannah and her late husband, Vern, collected carriages, antiques, gas engines, tractors and cars. Her daughter created the Agricultural Memories Museum in Penn Yan in 1998, in honor of Hannah and Vern.
Hannah was a former 4-H leader. She was a member of the Penn Yan Moose Club and a Charter Member of the NYS Steam Pageant Association.
Hannah is survived by her daughter, Jennifer R. (Jeff) Jensen; companion, Erv Schroeder; special friend, Barbara Hovey, and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Hannah was predeceased by her parents, George Henry Brown and Mildred Esty Brown; her husband, Vern “Junior” Johncox III, who died in 1981; sister, Hilda Coryn; brother, Harold Brown; and special friend, Merton E. “Bud” Gleason.
