Rushville- Gertrude H. “Trudy” Scott, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua.
A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held at Rushville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville United Methodist Church, 26 North Main St., Rushville, NY 14544.
Trudy was born July 13, 1929 in Somerville, New Jersey, the daughter of the late James B. Doman, Sr. and Mary E. Kline Doman. She was a Registered Nurse who had worked at the V.A. Medical Center in Canandaigua and at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
Trudy was a member of the Rushville United Methodist Church. She was also an avid quilter and belonged to the Lake-to-Lake Quilters. Trudy was a member of the Red Hat Society and a T.O.P.S. group.
Trudy is survived by one son, Walter (Sherry) Scott III; one daughter, Beth (Michael) Parker; four grandchildren, Celinda (Eben) Maynard, Corbin Parker, Collin Parker and Isaac Scott; one sister, Audrey (Neal) Small; and several nieces and nephews.
Trudy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter Scott, Jr; son, Timothy Scott and daughter, Jacquelyn Scott.
