GAIL HANSEN
Penn Yan- Gail J. Hansen, age 75, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Rochester General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Friends may call Saturday (May 21st) from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellona Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620.
Gail was the widow of the late Bruce G. Hansen, who died in 1995.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Seneca Lake Chapter #321, and served as Worthy Matron, District Deputy Grand Matron of Ontario, Yates and Seneca Counties. Gail was also a member of the Bellona Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies” Auxilliary. She enjoyed family genealogy and gardening.
Gail is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Hansen; two sons, William Hansen and Scott Hansen; four grandchildren, Laura, Bruce, Michael and Sara; two brothers, Robert Johnston and Jerry (Betty) Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.
