Penn Yan- Esther Christine Mosich, age 82, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at The Homestead in Penn Yan.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Seneca #9 Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Number Nine Cemetery.

Esther was born March, 22, 1935 in the Town of Benton. She was the daughter of the late Henry E. Sloth and Agnes C.. Nelson Sloth. Esther attended #9 School and graduated from Geneva High School. She married Robert Mosich on March 10, 1956 at Seneca #9 Presbyterian Church. Esther was a homemaker, and in later years was devoted to her grandchildren.
Esther is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Mosich, Sr.; two daughters, Deborah Compher and Donna (Phillip) Peek; son, Robert (Jenny) Mosich, Jr.; four grandchildren, Amanda Mosich, Christine Mosich, Heather Peek and Matthew Peek; two sisters, Rosa Hutchinson and Nancy (Tony) Pitifer; two brothers, Bruce (Jean) Sloth and Paul (Marilyn) Sloth; and two brothers-in-law, William F. Mosich and Paul (Shirley) Mosich.
Esther was predeceased by siblings, Helen (Bud) Fink, Melvin (Jo) Sloth; and by brother-in-law, Sonny Hutchinson.
