Obituary

Penn Yan/Canandaigua- Eleanor Mae Schultz, age 75, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 8th), at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, (Oct. 9th), at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 160 Allen Creek Rd., Rochester, NY 14618.

Eleanor was born on July 5, 1943 in Wellsville NY. She graduated from the Penn Yan Academy in 1961. Eleanor was a retired bus driver for the Victor School District. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Zephryhills, FL and the American Legion Auxiliary in Canandaigua.

Eleanor was an avid needle worker and member of the Adults Alive Program at Crosswinds.

Eleanor is survived by her 5 children, Kimberly (Thomas) McCormack, Karen Herman, Quentin (Natalie) Schultz, Jr., Karleen Schultz, and Klaressa (John) Nielsen; 16 grandchildren, Heather, Rachel, Ashley, Adam, Kara, Kyle, Casey, Lindsay, Kelsey, Justin, Jesse, Larry, Jaime, Courtney, Abby and Cassie; 25 great-grandchildren, Jonas, Phoenix, Aaliyah, Ariyanah, Ayden, Aliysiah, Colby, Kristoffer, Brayden, Sawyer, Wyatt, Joshua Jr., Victor, Chloe, Spencer, Adriana, Ryan, Hunter, Morgan, Logan, Grace, Aria, Caleb, Peyton and Olivia; one sister, Beverly Trattles; two brothers, Douglas (Kathy) Freeland and Timothy (Joy) Freeland; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Quentin R. Schultz, Sr. (1986); granddaughter, Kathleen Schultz (1986); great-grandson Gavin Amadeo (2008) ; father, Charles Freeland; mothers, Mildred Freeland and Trixie Freeland ; and sister, Barbara Wood (2011).
